Dr. Jeff Scott
Senior Pastor
|
Filled with enthusiasm and joy, our pastor
came to us in 1998. He has a book and numerous articles to his credit
related to child advocacy, church and state relations, and ethics. He holds
a Ph.D. in Religion from Baylor University, a M.Div and a M.R.E. from New
Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and a B.S. from Georgetown University
in Washington, D.C. His interests include Christian Comedy, ventriloquism
and Gospel Magic. He also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of
Religious Studies at Radford University. His wife, Debbie, serves as
director of children and senior adult ministries.

Rev. Melissa Scott
Director of Youth and
Education Ministries |
Melissa received a M. Div. from Baptist
Theological Seminary at Richmond, and possesses a B.A. in psychology from
University of Virginia, Melissa leads our growing youth group and
educational ministries in the church. |

Debbie Scott
Director of Children and
Senior Adult Ministries |
With a Masters in Gerontology from Baylor
University, a M.A. in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist
Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in Psychology from University of New
Orleans, Debbie brings a marvelous combination of education and experience
to our church. A licensed social worker, she is well suited to be of
help to families of all kinds. |

Jan Bryant
Director of Music Ministries |
Our music director since February 1999, Jan
has over 25 years of experience in church music leadership. Jan received a
B.A. in Music from Hollins University majoring in vocal performance with an
emphasis on Church music. She has pursued graduate studies at Westminster
College Choir in Princeton, NJ. She is creative, personable, and
inspiring. You will appreciate the difference in her music ministry.

Dody Matze
Church Musician |
We are delighted to have Dody Matze as our
church musician. Dody is one of the best in the business, known and
loved by so many in the Roanoke Valley, she brings to our church music which
uplifts and inspires as it points us to the Lord. |
